Crystal Serwah, with a background in nursing and over a decade of experience in care management, leads our care services team. She is responsible for developing care plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and supervising the nursing staff.

Jessica Thompson organizes and leads engaging activities for our residents, from social events to fitness programs. As the Head - Activities Coordinator, her goal is to enhance the quality of life for each resident by encouraging participation and fostering a sense of community.

Care Assistant

Location: Milton Keynes

Role Overview: As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting a comfortable and safe living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Help residents with mobility and physical activities.
  • Administer medication as prescribed (if trained to do so).
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Ensure the living environment is clean, comfortable, and safe.
  • Support residents in their social and recreational activities.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A caring and compassionate nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety principles.

Senior Health Care Assistant

Location: Milton Keynes

Role Overview: As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the care team and ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. Your responsibilities will include supervising junior staff, developing care plans, and acting as a liaison between residents and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of personal care to residents, ensuring that all care plans are followed accurately.
  • Mentor and support junior care staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Assist with complex care tasks and provide hands-on support to residents.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of residents, reporting any concerns to the nursing team.
  • Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Ensure that all care is provided in line with regulatory standards and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Significant experience in a health care role, preferably in a supported living or residential care setting.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
